Refund Policy

OwnTale products are personalized and made to order. The standard creation flow is: place an order, upload photos and customization details, receive the editable digital version by email, review each page, request changes if needed, confirm it is correct, and then printed products are sent to production and shipped.

Cancellation before customization

You may request cancellation before you upload photos/details or before OwnTale begins personalization work.

After photos and customization details are submitted

Once customer materials have been submitted and personalization work has started, the order is no longer eligible for cancellation because the item is being created specifically for you.

Digital review, page edits, and approval

For products that include a printed version, the digital version is sent by email first. You can review every page and request edits before print approval. Please review names, photos, text, and layout carefully. Printed production begins only after you confirm the final digital version is correct.

After print approval

After you approve the digital version for printing, printed books and posters cannot be returned or refunded because of change of mind, incorrect customer-provided information, or preference differences.

When we will help

If there is a clear OwnTale production error, manufacturing defect, or shipping damage, contact support@owtale.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. Depending on the issue, we may offer a correction, replacement, store credit, or refund.
